Cashew Joins Cubs4Kids: NFTs for a Cause

At Cashew Gets a Job, we love seeing the NFT community use creativity for good, and our recent collaboration with Lazy Lions is a perfect example. Lazy Lions launched Cubs4Kids, a low-cost $25 charity mint supporting the Center for Courageous Kids (CCK), a 168-acre medically inclusive camp in Scottsville, KY.

CCK is dedicated to making the joy of camp a reality for every child. They provide empowering experiences for children with disabilities or lifelong illnesses—and their families—completely free of charge. Through accessible, joyful, and transformative programs, campers gain confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships. Their mantra is simple but powerful: Medically Inclusive — 100% Free — 100% Unforgettable.

All proceeds from the Cubs4Kids mint went directly to support CCK’s programs and creative expansions—an amazing example of the  space giving back.

We were thrilled to join in by donating Cashew NFTs as prizes for mint holders. But we didn’t stop there! To extend the joy beyond the blockchain, we sent the Center for Courageous Kids a big box of Cashew books, completely free. Now campers can enjoy Cashew’s adventures as she explores different jobs, learns valuable lessons, and spreads smiles wherever she goes.

A special shout-out also goes to the other sponsors who helped make this initiative possible: Mars Cats Voyage and Untamed Elephants. Your support made an incredible impact on the kids at CCK, and we’re honored to be part of this community of giving.

Moments like these remind us why we created Cashew: to inspire, entertain, and make a positive impact: both online and in the real world. Thank you to Lazy Lions, the generous sponsors, and everyone supporting Cubs4Kids. Together, we’re showing that NFT communities can make a real difference for kids everywhere.
