Cashew’s Transformation From 2D to 3D

Why make the shift? Cashew began as a 2D character, designed for books and digital art, but we wanted to offer more to our community. Moving to 3D meant expanding possibilities—video game avatars, vinyl toys, and even interactive experiences. 📚 ➡️ 🎮 This shift was about embracing new tech and taking our project to the next level.

Creating a 3D model is like assembling a puzzle, one piece at a time. We started by constructing the base of the Cashew character, carefully shaping her form. Next came rigging, ensuring she could move smoothly and naturally. After that, we layered on textures, colors, and fine details. Every small touch mattered, from her expressive eyes to the signature underbite that makes Cashew, well, Cashew. 🧩✨

Taking Cashew from 2D to 3D was a challenge, but seeing her come to life in a whole new way was worth it. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to explore what’s next.
